Adding Video to Your Scavenger Hunts

If you've been organizing and playing scavenger hunts with Scavos, you know that we've been steadily adding new ways to challenge your players. We started with photos, then added riddles, and now... you can add video missions to your game. Read on to learn how to make the most of these new Video missions.

Where to Add Video to Your Scavenger Hunts

First, you'll need to download the Scavos app. This should go without saying, but given how mysteriously search engines work, we want to make clear that you'll need our app for this.

Secondly, you'll need a Scavos game created. Gotta have a game to add your missions to!

Finally, when you build or edit a mission, you'll see three options, Photos, Riddles, and Videos. All you have to do is tap Video, edit your clue to tell your players what type of video they need to submit, and you're done!

Now share your game with your players and set them loose! You'll see their video submissions added to your timeline as they are uploaded, and you can comment on them too!

Ideas for Video Scavenger Hunt Clues

If you need some ideas for good video mission prompts, we've whipped up 5 to get you started.

  1. Get the whole party to sing "Happy Birthday" to the birthday boy/girl.

  2. Ask someone to show you their signature dance move.

  3. Catch a video of an animal saying "hi."

  4. Surprise someone and catch their reaction.

  5. Give a video tour of your home office.

If you need more ideas, we've had great success asking AI to handle chores for us, check that out here.
